Primetime is a programme targeting older people in Scotland. The Big Lottery Fund teamed up with the BBC to encourage community groups to come up with project ideas. Our role is to help 36 shortlisted applicants develop their project plans and build capacity to write successful funding bids. Our approach combines workshops, clinics and project visits across Scotland with ongoing telephone and email support to ensure all applicants - not only those six the public will select through a TV vote – benefit from the process.
